Maverick and Lodge Pole on the PCT! 4/19+

For all you faithful followers of the adventures of Maverick and Lodge Pole you should
know that they have weathered all kinds of adventures thus far. 100 mph winds, sleet covered
long hikes, cold rivers, thrills and spills. Sometimes the tech side of them uploading new pictures
and words has a long delay---but we here at the website company are trying to get things up as fast as possible.    ----mgt.

Maverick says, " It looks like I am lurking in the shadows like a creep, but anyway, this is the first but not last Joshua tree just out of big bear."

"At times the trail can be quite rocky! This is just before mile 300 on 4/19/13. But even in the rocks the trail still has its beauty."
"
"Big bear lake looks amazing from up, especially with the light dusting of snow from the night before."
"Maverick at the beginning of his first treacherous river crossing."

"Grayson, on the right is the one who checked us into the big bear hostel and gave us a ride back to the trail head in the morning, which saved us a 10 mile road walk. If you are reading this, Thanks man we really appreciate it =) !"

Maverick kicking it under Deep Creek Bridge!
 Lodge Pole soaking those dogs.
"Hey there's Dave and Althia aka Granite and Petra. Our trekking compadres!"
